We all have been seeing inside the catholic churches , painted in its wall or there is a picture frame showing JesusChrist carrying that cross and stopping once in while seven times .
I just want to be biblical about it because I could not find any verse in the bible as this event is being narrated by MATTHEW, MARK and LUKE in their individual writings.
It was a certain SIMON who carried that cross all throughout as mentioned in MATTHEW CHAPTER 27, verse 32, """ as they went out , they came upon a man named SIMON , they compelled this man to carry his cross."""
While in that process of going to the place where he will be hanged ( called GOLGOTA) there was no mention that Jesus stopped for seven times or anytime for that matter, if ever that was happened , what book it is, who is the author who personally saw that Jesus had to stop for a while.
Let us create a story based on the bible only.

Christ as depicted on the cross
Although , the making of a cross and putting Jesus Christ hanged in that cross is not biblical and even a humiliation to him, allow me to make some facts contrary to what is being depicted on that cross.
As it is always being seen in many Catholic Churches, Jesus is clothed with a scarlet robe or a towel wrapped around his waist. This is not the true that while he was hanged on that cross he is wearing a robe or a towel wrapped around his waist.
If you are going to read MATTHEW CHAPTER 27, verse 31, it says""" AFTER MOCKING HIM , THEY STRIPPED HIM OF THE ROBE AND PUT HIS OWN CLOTHES ON HIM , THEY LED HIM AWAY TO CRUCIFY HIM.
In the above verse, it is apparent that beforehand his clothes was removed and replaced by a robe as it is written on MATTHEW CHAPTER 27, verse 28. """" they stripped of his clothes and put a scarlet robe on him."""
Later on ,immediately prior to him hanging to the cross , that scarlet robe was removed and replaced it with his own clothes. That means while he was hanging on that cross , what he was wearing was his own clothes and definitely that is not a scarlet robe because that is not the usual dress in ISRAEL at that time.
However, immediately after Jesus was hanged , the JEWS have stripped him of his clothes and divided that clothes into themselves . This is reason why MARY, MARY MAGDALENE and many other women were standing far away from that cross .
If this is the case , Jesus was hanged on the cross NAKED until the time when a certain rich man arrived by the name of JOSEPH who have Jesus removed from the cross and was wrapped in a clean linen cloth.
I only wish that the catholic hierarchy should totally removed all those CROSS where Jesus is being portrayed wearing that robe, not because it is wrong , BUT BECAUSE IT IS PROHIBITED BY GOD that we make graven images and adore that images. The sad thing is because we are hardheaded , we force the issue that we have to create an graven images of Jesus hanging on the cross, but since we cannot portray Jesus hanging on that cross naked, we circumvent the commandment by putting to him a robe, just to force the issue that we must create an graven image for him.

what is December 25 vis a vis Christmas
December 25 or a week before that date is actually the an ancient roman pagan festival in honor of DEITY SATURN , called SATURNALIA or termed as Birth of the Unconquered Sun.
This week long festivities are coupled with gift giving, partying, carnival, and merry making. This continued up to the 4th century as ROMAN empire became under Christian rule.
It is a public holiday in all forms of work. At this time , slaves were treated to a banquet normally enjoyed by their masters. Rampant overeating , heavy drinking became a rule. Greeting cards were also sent to someone normally coupled with gifts. There were also carrolling where some people go to house to house singing naked.
In the 4th century , Christians copied this saturnalia festival hoping to take pagans to became christians. Finally early Christians adopted this style and make this date as the birth of JESUS.
Up to this time this pagan style of festivities are being celebrated by christians but to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

DID JESUS HAS A MISSING YEARS IN ISRAEL
There are some who believe and accept that JESUS CHRIST was not seen in NAZARETH from his adolescent hood and just appeared when he is about to preach.
This story was just a product of having lack of interest in reading the bible or even maybe did not believe in the bible.
The bible is very clear in confirming that JESUS CHRIST did not went into hiding in during those years of his adolescent. The JEWS themselves confirm his continued presence in NAZARETH.
In Matthew CHAPTER 6 , verse3 , '''' IS NOT THIS THE CARPENTER, THE SON OF MARY AND BROTHER OF JAMES AND JOSES AND JUDAS AND SIMON , AND ARE NOT HIS SISTERS WITH US.
The verse implies that they saw JESUS while doing carpentry works, he being the son of JOSEPH who is a carpenter. For you to be able to do carpentry works , you must be in your adult age. Those Jews could not say that , if they have not seen Jesus for a long time.

THE BIRTH OF JESUS
Is the birth of Jesus really happened in December?. Let us ask the bible. If you will read LUKE Chapter 2 verse 8,9, 10 " AND THERE WERE SHEPHERDS LIVING OUT IN THE FIELDS NEARBY KEEPING WATCH OVER THEIR FLOCKS at night. an angel of the lord appeared to them and the glory of the lord shone around them .........but the angel said to them dont be afraid, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people. Today in the town of David , a Saviour has been born to you.
Take notice that at that time , the shepherds are outside in the fields keeping watch their flocks , presumably the flocks are eating some grass. It is night time at that time, and in ISRAEL it is winter time during the month of December , and we all know that during winter time , there are snow all over particularly in JERUSALEM . It would be senseless that those shepherds will bring their flocks outside in the fields if it is winter time and more so it is night time. Therefore , it is not December at the time Jesus was born
there is another event that took place at the time when MARY is about to deliver a baby. IN LUKE CHAPTER 2 verse 1,2,3,4 IN THOSE DAYS CAESAR AUGUSTUS issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world , and every one went to his own town to register. So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to JUDEA in Bethlehem , the town of David because he belonged to the house and line of David/
So at the time there are a lot of people that have to travel to far away places especially when their family lineage is far from their hometown , just like Joseph. Large portion of the Roman Empire has winter season including that of Israel.
Do you think AUGUSTUS CAESAR an emperor at that, would issue a decree requiring many people that have to travel to far away places DURING WINTER TIME. I dont think , he is that stupid.

TRUTH ABOUT THE THREE KINGS
The catholic faith is celebrating the visit of the THREE KINGS to the newly born JESUS every 6th of January.
This is another mistake or misunderstanding on what is written in the scriptures. If you will read MATTHEW CHAPTER 2,verse 1, it says" AFTER JESUS WAS BORN IN BETHLEHEM IN JUDEA, DURING THE TIME OF KING HEROD, WISE MEN ( magi) FROM THE EAST CAME TO JERUSALEM.
This is plain and simple language, the verse says WISE , NOT KINGS, MEN , NOT THREE, had visited the newly born JESUS.
As also being depicted , these three KINGS had visited JESUS while Jesus is still lying down in a manger. Again this is not what is stated in the bible. The bible says in MATTHEW CHAPTER 2, verse 11, " ON COMING TO A HOUSE THEY SAW THE CHILD WITH HIS MOTHER MARY.........
That means when the wise men arrived in Bethlehem , they found JESUS and MARY in a house. That means JOSEPH and MARY had decided to transfer to a house . This is understandable because they cannot stay even one day on that corral of flocks of animals because by daytime those flocks would be returning from the fields.
