TRUTH ABOUT THE THREE KINGS

The catholic faith is celebrating the visit of the THREE KINGS to the newly born JESUS  every 6th of January.
This is another mistake or misunderstanding on what is written in the scriptures.  If you will read MATTHEW CHAPTER  2,verse 1, it says"  AFTER JESUS WAS BORN IN BETHLEHEM IN JUDEA, DURING THE TIME OF KING HEROD, WISE MEN ( magi) FROM THE EAST CAME TO JERUSALEM.

This is plain and simple language, the verse says WISE  , NOT KINGS,  MEN , NOT THREE, had visited  the newly born JESUS.
As also being depicted , these three KINGS had visited JESUS  while Jesus is still lying down in a manger. Again this is not what is stated in the bible.  The bible says in MATTHEW CHAPTER 2, verse 11, " ON COMING TO A HOUSE THEY SAW THE CHILD WITH HIS MOTHER MARY.........

That means when the wise men arrived in Bethlehem , they found  JESUS and MARY in a house.  That means JOSEPH and MARY had decided to transfer to a house .  This is understandable because they cannot stay even one day on that corral of flocks of animals because by daytime those flocks would be returning  from the fields.
